The Flavor
My Story
Are there any leftovers in the kitchen?
PJ. Lemuel has been an advocate for inspiring, educating, and uniting families for over 21 years. Today, many families find themselves drowning in a sea of unacceptable behaviors that they do not understand; they lack the life preservers needed to keep their heads above water until help arrives. Ms. Lemuel’s combined life’s work as a mother, investigator, and program facilitator gives her unique insight into the need for hands-on applications in solving those thorny, everyday problems without physical violence or verbal aggression. This insight provides the vision for RECIPE, INC: Realistic Educational Concepts and Instructions for Parenting Everyday, a 501(c)(3) organization. RECIPE is a mobile organization that takes parenting directly to where it is most needed. Ms. Lemuel has worked directly with approximately 250 families from all walks of life. She has provided parenting instruction to diverse audiences in a variety of settings including the Georgia Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS) “Right Way Home Project,” workshops with inmates at the City of Atlanta and Fulton County Jails, and a parenting ministry housed within Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. She has also consulted for daycare centers, parent organizations, and family law attorneys. Ms. Lemuel is certified to facilitate several programs listed in the National Registry of Evidence-based Programs and Practices (NREPP). She uses interactive video-based programming based on validated research in cognitive psychology.
We are driven by values
All recipes have basic ingredients, however, it is the flavor that distinguishes the final product. Ms. Lemuel is that FLAVOR.
